Comprehensive Parasite & Insect Control: Rapidly eradicates external pests such as fish lice (Argulus), anchor worms (Lernaea), gill flukes (Dactylogyrus), and aquatic bug larvae.
-
Reduces Stress & Mortality: Stops irritation and itching caused by clinging parasites, preventing self-inflicted injuries and secondary bacterial or fungal infections.

-
Pond & Water Friendly: Safe for commercial pond ecosystems when used as directed, maintaining water quality and phytoplankton balance.
-
Fast-Acting Relief: Visible reduction in parasite infestation within 24 to 48 hours of treatment.
Target Pests
| Pest Type | Common Name | Impact on Fish |
| Argulus spp. | Fish Lice | Pierces skin, causes erratic swimming and red lesions |
| Lernaea spp. | Anchor Worms | Burrows into fish muscle, leading to severe ulcers |
| Dactylogyrus / Gyrodactylus | Gill & Skin Flukes | Causes gasping at water surface, excessive mucus production |
| Aquatic Bug Larvae | Water Beetles / Nymphs | Attacks fry and fingerlings in nursery ponds |
How It Works
Chamak targets the nervous system and outer shells of aquatic parasites and insects. Upon application, the active treatment dissolves evenly throughout the water column, penetrating the parasite’s protective outer layer to neutralize adults, larvae, and eggs without compromising fish respiration or metabolism.
Dosage & Application Instructions
For Commercial Ponds & Hatcheries
-
Standard Dosage: Apply 0.5 mL to 1.0 mL per decimal (at 3 to 4 feet water depth), or as recommended by an aquaculture consultant.

Repeat Treatment: For heavy infestations, re-apply after 7–10 days to target newly hatched parasites.
For Aquariums
-
Standard Dosage: 1 Drop per 5–10 Liters of water depending on infestation severity.
-
Method: Pre-mix in a small cup of aquarium water and pour into high-flow areas near the filter outlet. Turn off active carbon filters during treatment.
Precautions & Storage
-
Aerate Well: Ensure adequate dissolved oxygen levels in the pond during application.
